Wage and Hour Wednesdays – There's No Time Like the Present: Employee Handbook Updates for 2022

Event

2.09.22
12:00 PM — 1:00 PM EDT

Employee handbooks serve two useful purposes. They have operational value as an expression of the workplace policies that employees must follow. And when done well, handbooks also have value in adversarial proceedings, such as lawsuits and government agency investigations. With many organizations changing the way they do business, there is no time like the present to review and refresh the handbook policies that impact wage and hour compliance. Mimi Nguyen and Jay Glunt will discuss best practices for handbook policies regarding paid time off, employee classification, overtime, meal breaks, and more.
