Wage and Hour Wednesdays: Election Season is Here: Navigating Difficult Wage and Hour Issues When Your Employees Go to Vote

Event

10.09.24
12:00 PM — 1:00 PM PDT

The United States of America is in the thick of election season. While employers may seek to avoid speaking about the candidates, their policies, etc., they can’t avoid knowing and discussing the wage and hour rules surrounding voting. Bring a compass and a map to navigate these rules. This webinar will review state and Federal rules regarding time off for voting, whether employers have to pay for the time off to vote, and other wage and hour issues that may be implicated when employees seek to exercise their right to vote.

The firm will submit this program for HRCI and SHRM credit.
