Wage and Hour Wednesday – So Your Company Has Remote Workers in Florida? Wage & Hour Considerations You Should Know

Event

9.14.22
12:00 PM — 1:00 PM EDT

Arguably, one of the most drastic changes from the COVID-19 pandemic is the surge in the number of employees working remotely, which implicates a host of wage and hour issues from the simple to the complex. Meanwhile, Florida remains a hotbed for wage and hour litigation. In this program, Fisher Phillips employment attorneys LaKisha Kinsey-Sallis and Brett Owens will provide insight on how to comply with the FLSA and Florida law while mitigating legal risks in this remote work environment.

Fisher Phillips will be applying for 1.0 HRCI/SHRM and general CLE in Florida. Fisher Phillips will make all reasonable efforts to obtain CLE credit for this program in every state that is relevant to attendee's MCLE needs. In certain instances, some programs may not be awarded CLE credit because of content, delivery or jurisdictional restrictions.

If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Cameron.
