Ann Margaret Pointer was quoted in the Business News Daily article "Video Surveillance Systems: A Buyer's Guide" featured on August 19, 2014.
While there are no federal laws strictly prohibiting the use of video surveillance systems, there are some limitations to how they can be used, especially when a business's employees are being recorded, according to Ann Margaret.

"Employers would need to be careful not to make even photographic recordings in areas in which employees would expect privacy such as restrooms, locker changing rooms and the like," Ann Margaret added.
