Celia Joseph, an attorney with the firm's International Employment Practice Group, and Anna Birtwistle, an attorney with the CM Murray Law Firm in London, England, provided a general overview of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the United Kingdom's new Bribery Act. This webinar highlighted issues related to compliance, enforcement and the responsibilities of corporate employees. A portion of the program provided insight on how executive-level employment agreements might be affected by these laws and how to address them, as well as specific steps employers can take to ensure compliance with these laws.
