Philadelphia Partner Todd Ewan was quoted on March 28 by Newsworks in an article about the recent lawsuit against Comcast entitled, “U.S. Supreme Court Rejects Class-Action Suit Against Comcast.” Todd said that while the giant class of potential litigants may not notice, it was a big day for corporate lawyers. "I don't know if you've ever been on the receiving end of a class action settlement check, but I've heard of them where you get a check for a penny or a check for 10 cents or a check for 11 cents," Todd said. "That's never going to be incentive for you, from a pure economic standpoint, to pursue that case."
