No higher education compliance issue has garnered more attention than the challenge to combat campus sexual assault.
Please join Florida State University and Fisher Phillips for a Title IX Conference geared exclusively to Florida Colleges, Universities and K-12 Schools.
Program:
Throughout the two days, the program moves from regulatory compliance and litigation developments towards skills building such as developing top-noting investigating and report writing skills. The program will also provide the opportunity for peers throughout Florida to collaborate and share their collective experiences with each other. A detailed agenda can be found here.

Jennifer is Title IX Director at Florida State University.
Candice Pinares-Baez
Candice is an attorney with the firm Fisher Phillips (Bar Admission only in Florida). Her focus is on providing counsel and litigation support on a host of higher education issues with a particular emphasis on institutional policies.
Scott Schneider
Scott is a partner with the firm Fisher Phillips (Bar Admissions only in Louisiana and Texas), leading the firm’s Higher Education Practice Group. He focuses his practice on providing counsel and litigation support on a host of higher education issues with a particular emphasis on institutional policies and handling of allegations of sex assault and violations of Title IX.
