Thirteen Strategies To Improve Workplace Safety, Reduce OSHA Exposure and Improve Profitability – Free Webinar – June 2010
Event
6.23.10
If OSHA has fallen off your radar screen, it is time to put it back on. OSHA has been changing in the past year and more significant changes are on the way. All employers are seeing a continued shift away from OSHA's emphasis on cooperative efforts with employers to a more aggressive enforcement approach.
In this webinar the co-chairs of the Workplace Safety and Catastrophe Management Practice Group at Fisher Phillips will examine the new enforcement-focused OSHA and Congressional changes coming in the near future. The program will also review the essential elements of OSHA compliance and an effective workplace safety and health program, with an eye to preparing for increased civil and criminal enforcement, as well as the use of safety issues by unions and a growing group of whistleblowers. The webinar will explain how, when used properly, safety compliance can be a "profit center" and not another administrative cost.
