In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Travis Vance weighs-in on the workplace safety issues that white-collar workplaces are facing as they decide whether to reopen their offices amid the pandemic. The article explains that with a decision to reopen comes the risk of legal exposure and many of these companies are now being forced to consider complex workplace safety regulations that they never before needed to think about. Travis notes that “a white-collar company is not used to having this much burden from a workplace-safety standpoint,” and he estimates that about one-quarter of the companies he has advised have decided the legal requirements have made it too challenging for them to reopen.
