The Straight Dope on NJ’s Marijuana Laws and What They Mean for Employers

Event

4.14.22
12:00 PM — 1:00 PM EDT

For more than 13 years, employers who do business in New Jersey have seen a boom in marijuana legalization laws, including the medical marijuana law, the Jake Honig Compassionate Use Medical Cannabis Act, and the recreational marijuana law, the Cannabis Regulatory Enforcement Assistance and Marketplace Modernization Act. Predictably, many New Jersey companies are struggling to understand the new marijuana legalization laws, which may ultimately lead to additional litigation between employees and employers (and has already).

Attorney Katherine DiCicco takes some of the guesswork out of the myriad of laws to provide the straight dope on New Jersey's marijuana laws and what they mean for employers.
