The article, “Supreme Court Deadlock Kills Obama’s Immigration Plans,” featured in SHRM, reported on the U.S. Supreme Court’s 4-4 decision on June 23 in a case which challenged President Barack Obama’s proposed immigration programs effectively blocking nearly 5 million undocumented immigrants residing in the United States from being granted work authorization.
