Sidney Minter of Fisher Phillips Selected Among 2018 Legal Elite

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Jan. 10, 2018 – Sidney O. Minter, an attorney with the Charlotte office of national labor and employment law firm Fisher Phillips, has been named among Business North Carolina’s “2018 Legal Elite in Employment Law.”
“It is truly an honor to be recognized among this group of great lawyers in North Carolina,” said Minter. “I take great pride in helping my clients with their legal matters, and am very pleased that my colleagues recognize my dedication to client service and to the profession.”

Biographical Information: Sidney O. Minter
In addition to practicing law for the past six years, Minter is the Co-Chair for the Minorities in the Profession’s 2018 Pre-Law Conference. He serves as the President of the Burlington Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and is also a member of the 2018 Annual Conference Committee of the National Employment Law Council. Minter is a member of Fisher & Phillips’ Diversity & Inclusion Committee and of the National Black Lawyers Top 100—an invitation only professional honorary organization composed of exemplary attorneys. He was named among the “2017 Leaders in the Law” by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly. Minter earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He graduated summa cum laude from High Point University with a master’s in Public Administration and graduated cum laude from North Carolina Central University School of Law with his Juris Doctor.
