Employers that received PPP loans through the program in 2020 may be eligible for a second loan if they meet certain criteria. SHRM spoke with Patrick Dennison for insight on what employers need to know about the eligibility requirements, loan forgiveness and common mistakes employers are making. Patrick says the most important thing employers can do is to carefully and frequently review information on the SBA and Treasury Department websites. Failing to keep up with the most recent changes in rules or guidance and put employers in sticky situations.
