In her second article for Women Chefs and Restaurateurs, Wendy McGuire Coats continues her discussion on tackling implicit bias by exploring the role individual cultural programming plays in the formation of a person’s bias. She tells readers that “battling bias, especially unconscious or implicit bias, is a personal, intimate engagement that takes place one brain at a time. And because bias is uniquely individual, there’s no one-size fits all.”
