In an interview with Law360, Ben Ebbink shares his insights on wage issues California’s Industrial Welfare Commission (IWC) could take on when they reconvene in the coming months. Ben explains that if the IWC looks at the fast food industry, then the minimum wage could be an issue it decides to tackle. And, when discussing remote work reimbursement, Ben notes that the legislature would need to grant the IWC authority to make changes to current California Labor Code requirements that already exist for expense reimbursements.
