Regional Managing Partner in Pittsburgh Discusses the Impact of the Growing Number of Unionization Campaigns
In a two-part interview with Law.com, Brian Balonick shares his insights on Pennsylvania’s uptick of union organizing campaigns and its impact on the practice of law. Brian explains that the uptick has led to an increase in the firm’s traditional labor work, which has created a need to recruit additional attorneys to help focus on these matters. “We really think it’s crucial to recruit more lawyers in this space … because we see it as a growing area over the next several years, and the current lawyers practicing are very busy,” Brian said.
He predicts that his labor practice will continue to get busier as the year progresses, and in part two of the interview Brian highlights some factors fueling unionization flames and increasing work in the labor arena.
