Practical U.S. Employer Policies for Managing An Increasingly Armed Workforce
Event
6.03.21
2:00 PM — 3:00 PM EST
Unfortunately, workplace shootings have become increasingly common in the U.S. Gun advocates claim this is why guns should be allowed in the workplace, while critics claim this is why employers should be able to ban them. Although no U.S. federal law regulates guns in private workplaces, various states have taken up the cause of protecting the gun rights of employees while on the job. As this debate continues on, employers are left wondering how to comply with the law while still instituting their own policies that promote a safe work environment. This webinar explores the legal twists and turns surrounding guns in the workplace under Ohio state law and how Ohio employers can comply with the law while still keeping their employees and property safe from violence.
