In a Local 5 News interview about investigative leave, partner Clarence Belnavis discussed lengthy periods of employee leave in the public versus private sectors. He noted that “[a]s a general rule, private employers tend to be stricter with their leave law entitlements for their employees.” He went on to note that private employers “…have an incentive to make sure folks get back to work when they are capable and able to return to work.”
