North Carolina Attorney Provides Tips for Employers Who Accept PPP Loans

In a recent interview with the Charlotte Business Journal, Nick Hulse explains how he is helping employers who participate in the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) navigate the complexities of a potential Small Business Administration audit. While all businesses should keep detailed records, he says, businesses that borrow PPP loans greater than $2 million will be audited, potentially several years after the money is disbursed, and having records will help in applying for forgiveness.
