No Industry is Safe from ICE Raids, Denver Partner Says

The August 2019 Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation, in which ICE officers arrested nearly 700 workers across Mississippi, was the largest immigration enforcement action ever undertaken in a single state. The coordinated sting left employers nationwide wondering if their workplaces, too, could be raided.
Quoted in an article for Law Week Colorado, Denver partner Jocelyn Campanaro said no industry is safe from the possibility of an ICE raid. More common, however, is ICE arriving at an employer’s door to conduct an I-9 audit. Jocelyn said Fisher Phillips has seen these inspections increase in recent years.
