In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Melissa Camire shares her insight on what employers are doing to ensure their job listings are in compliance with New York City’s transparency law that took effect on November 1st. Similar laws have either gone into effect or are set to become implemented across the country, from Colorado to California. Because of the patchwork of laws, Melissa explains that employers are debating whether updating all job postings going forward is the best action, despite the process challenges they may face.
