Event

Presenting at this year's New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) 2017 Annual Meeting and Convention, Partner Kathleen Caminiti's speaking topic will be, "Can Employers Hide from Historical Patterns of Unequal Pay in the Era of Computers and Big Data?"
Discussion points will include: • What are we missing about intersectionality due to the gendering of the pay equity conversation (the black/white wage gap, i.e.)? • How do we measure the gaps, what is the data, where is the data? • How will employers adjust to statutory data retention and reporting requirements • Even if the new administration rolls back the proposed EEO-1 revision, is there plausible deniability anymore? • How does pay equity fit within the larger discussion about diversity, what are best practices, and how do employers get ahead of the curve (voluntary internal audits, etc.)?
