Fisher Phillips and the Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce Present:
New Employment Laws Affecting Businesses in 2015
The New Year brought many important changes to workplace laws in California. Employers will face even more challenges this year as a result of new legislature and recent case law, including implementing paid sick leave and reimbursing employees for business cell phone usage. Employers also need to be prepared for potential additional wage and hour claims filed under the California Private Attorney General Act (“PAGA”). This seminar will provide an overview of pertinent cases and legislation that will impact California employers in 2015 and provide employers with effective means to avoid costly litigation.

Raul Zermeno is an attorney in the Los Angeles office of Fisher Phillips. He represents management in all aspects of employment law, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination and wage and hour claims.
