Lawyers Pen Article on Historic Equal Pay Collective Bargaining Agreement

Publication

7.28.22

In a bylined article published by Employee Benefit Plan Review, Kathleen Caminiti and Jack O’Connor break down the joint collective bargaining agreements between the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Soccer Teams and the U.S. Soccer Federation which guarantees equal pay for both teams.

Kathleen and Jack believe the agreement will “spur employees, government officials and plaintiffs’ attorneys to scrutinize pay practices at workplaces across the country.” In their article, they provide three key takeaways for employers to ensure workplace pay policies are in compliance with the law: evaluating compensation data; implementing and updating pay practices that comply with laws and regulations and educating and training managers.
