Is Your Policy Against Harassment In Compliance With The New Regulations?
Fisher Phillips Breakfast Briefing
Join us for breakfast and a discussion on a hot HR topic. This complimentary event is a great opportunity to network and talk with other HR professionals and our lawyers in an informal and collaborative setting to get the information you need to stay in the know. Upcoming month:
As of April 1, 2016 a new set of regulations from the California Fair Employment and Housing Council went into effect. Among other things, these regulations require employers with 5 or more employees to have a written policy against unlawful harassment, discrimination and retaliation in the workplace. The regulations require the policies to meet certain requirements. This program will discuss each of the new requirements and the implications of these regulations on California employers.
Please feel free to bring your company’s policy against harassment, so you can mark up the required changes. We will also provide a sample policy that meets the requirements to all attendees.
