Columbia attorneys Cheryl Behymer and Richele Taylor gave presentations at a human resources conference hosted by the South Carolina Hospital Association on February 3, 2011. The program covered HR issues as they relate to the healthcare industry. Cheryl spoke about affirmative action issues and the Office of Federal Contracts Compliance Programs (OFCCP), the branch of the U.S. Department of Labor charged with overseeing affirmative action obligations. Richele addressed issues involving the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA).
