In an interview with the Kansas City Business Journal, Samantha Monsees discusses how employers should prepare in the wake of President Biden’s federal vaccine mandate. While she expects legal challenges to the pending new regulation, Samantha says it would not be wise for employers rely on the courts halting the measure. “I think by the time the legal challenges work their way through the various courts, the ETS will already be in place. I wouldn’t be surprised if this ETS is vacated by a federal court, but if that happens, it’s not going to happen until probably November or December. By then, with employers required to already have these policies implemented, the goal of the ETS will already have been accomplished in some fashion already. Even if it’s ultimately determined that the ETS is vacated, you can’t unvaccinate people.”
