In an article published by Construction Executive, Curtis Moore explains that employers should take appropriate steps to reduce employee exposure to heat-stress. Curt explains that construction employers will need to ensure they have adequate training for employees on the signs, symptoms and risks of heat-stress and an effective heat-stress and acclimatization program. He goes on to add that employers will also want to perform the proper hazard assessment and have a clear and effective plan to deal with emergency heat-related situations.
