Greater Hall County Chamber of Commerce Safety Council

In recent years, two topics have been seemingly ever-present in news cycles around the country: 1) the persistent and deadly opioids crisis, and; 2) the growing map of states and municipalities legalizing or decriminalizing marijuana. Both subjects can have an impact on the workplace, and employers need to make sure that their policies and procedures are ready to deal with the issues unique to both topics.

The Greater Hall County Safety Council’s Winter Breakfast Program will be held on January 31^st and will focus on these topics and more. The morning’s presenters will be Robert Smith, Executive Director of Fisher Phillips Safety Solutions, and Tracy Moon, Partner, Fisher Phillips. Their presentation will cover OSHA’s drug testing rule, Worker’s Compensation insurance issues, and other best practices employers should consider incorporating in their workplaces.
