Nashville (February 28, 2020) – Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm representing employers, welcomes Ariel Kelly as an Associate in the firm’s Nashville office. Ariel arrives on the heels of last month’s announcement about the firm’s lease for over 4,000 square feet of new office space in the city’s West End.
“It is an exciting time as we continue to expand the firm’s foothold to better serve existing and new clients in Nashville and beyond,” said Joe Shelton managing partner of the Nashville office. “Ariel is an experienced litigator with a client-first mentality, and she is a great example of the type of talent we want on our team. We hope to attract other skilled lawyers like Ariel who share our goal of practicing labor and employment law at a high-level while being good individuals and corporate citizens in this dynamic city.”
Ariel has advised and defended employers in a wide range of complex issues arising out of federal and state employment laws. Her litigation experience includes representing employers in matters related to wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, workers’ compensation, and contract disputes. As part of her practice, Ariel also counsels employers in negotiating, drafting, reviewing and enforcing employment-related policies.
“I am thrilled to join a nationally renowned labor and employment firm like Fisher Phillips and litigate on the front lines of workplace law,” said Ariel. “The firm’s new office in Nashville provides me with the unique opportunity to help build the firm’s reputation with employers in this city and across the country.”
Ariel earned her J.D. and B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
