Fisher Phillips Welcomes Emily Alvarez in Denver

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Emily Alvarez has joined the firm as an associate in the Denver office.

Before joining Fisher Phillips, Emily worked at an immigration firm where she prepared various applications and petitions for submission to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). She also handled proceedings in Immigration Court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals. At Fisher Phillips, Emily will join the firm’s Immigration Practice Group and will advise and counsel businesses of all sizes on a variety of employment-related immigration matters.

Emily is the third new attorney to join in Denver in 2022, bringing the lawyer count in that office to 25.

Emily earned her law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law, and during this time she served as a Research Assistant to Associate Dean Jaya Ramji-Nogales and as a legal intern at the Nationalities Service Center.
