InsideCounsel and Fisher Phillips presented a special National Labor Law Workshop leading into the 13th Annual SuperConference in Chicago. This half-day event, May 6, 2013, was designed for in-house counsel with responsibility for labor law matters at their organizations.
Experienced labor attorneys from Fisher Phillips provided much of the day’s content.
In addition, attendees heard from Richard Bensinger, an official of the UAW and Pat Cleary, president of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations. Bensinger presented “The UAW in the 21st Century as a Study of the Future of Unions” and Cleary discussed “Corporate Legal Departments Under the Obama Administration.” It was a lively session that provided attendees with important takeaways.
There were opportunities to engage and network with the Workshop leadership and with other attendees of the event at both the conference and the various networking breaks throughout the day.
