Courtney Leyes Receives the Larry Dean Wilks Leadership Award

Courtney Leyes received the Tennessee Bar Association’s (TBA) Larry Dean Wilks Leadership Award in a ceremony held on August 26, 2022. The honor was bestowed upon her by her fellow members of the 2022 TBA Leadership Law (TBALL) class in recognition of her exceptional leadership qualities.
Courtney is one of 34 lawyers from across Tennessee who was accepted into this year’s TBALL class to further develop her leadership skills for the betterment of the legal profession and the community as a whole. The program strives to achieve the following goals:
- To nurture effective leadership with respect to ethical, professional and community service issues.
- To build relationships among legal leaders from across the state and from across disciplines within the profession.
- To raise the level of awareness among lawyers regarding the broad range of issues facing the legal profession.
- To enhance the diversity of leaders within the legal profession and the community as a whole.
Courtney and her 2022 classmates are among the more than 500 leading lawyers that TBALL has graduated since its inception in 2004.
