Fisher Phillips Grows in Chicago with Addition of Lauren Bever

Chicago (June 21, 2019) – Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm representing employers, is pleased to announce the addition of Lauren Bever as an associate in its Chicago office.
Lauren focuses her practice on employment discrimination, specifically matters involving the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and the Illinois Human Rights Act. She also assists clients on best practices for common employment issues, including training documents, restrictive covenants, employee handbooks and/or workplace guidelines and separation agreements.
In addition, Lauren counsels clients on the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. She represents employers in state and federal courts and before the National Labor Relations Board and local and state fair employment agencies.
Lauren earned her J.D. at Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2016 and her B.S. in business administration from Central Michigan University in 2013. She is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois. Prior to law school, Lauren worked in-house at a Fortune 50 chemical company.
