Fisher Phillips Elects Whit Selert as Partner

Las Vegas (January 3, 2017) – The Las Vegas office of Fisher Phillips announced that Whit Selert was elected as partner for the prominent labor law firm. His promotion took effect Jan. 1. Across the firm nationally, an additional 11 new partners were named.
Selert has been with the Las Vegas office of Fisher Phillips since 2010. He represents private and public entities throughout Nevada with prevention and compliance, appellate practice, employment law training, labor and employment litigation, labor arbitration, OSHA inspections, and litigation.
“Whit is a tremendous asset to our Nevada office and have continually demonstrated his commitment to our clients in need of employment and labor law expertise,” said Las Vegas Managing Partner Mark Ricciardi. “He is valued by our clients for his ability to quickly and efficiently identify and troubleshoot problems. Selert has a law degree from the University of Southern California at Davis, School of Law, and an undergraduate degree from the Texas A&M University. He has clerked for the US Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Selert also serves on the Board of Directors for the American Youth Literacy Foundation.
