Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Emma Freese has joined the firm as an associate in the Atlanta office.
Prior to joining Fisher Philips, Emma practiced at a national labor and employment firm where she advised multinational corporations and provided strategic advice on the full range of immigration services. As a member of Fisher Phillips’ Immigration practice, she will continue to work with organizations to handle visas for immigrants and non-immigrants, as well as resolve compliance issues and handle high-volume PERM and PERM audits. Emma is versed in bringing temporary and permanent work visas before various government agencies – including U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Department of State, Department of Labor, and Customs and Border Protection.
Emma earned her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and her B.A. from Rice University. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is an immigration volunteer for national nonprofit organizations that advocate for victims of domestic violence and human tracking.
Emma joins a rapidly growing bi-coastal Immigration practice at Fisher Phillips. The team recently announced the arrival of Brian Coughlin as partner and Tatiana Chiu, an associate, in the firm’s Boston office, and recently added Immigration attorneys in California, Florida and Michigan.
