The EEOC issued guidance for employers about reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act and other federal anti-discrimination laws. Law360 and SHRM turned to Lauren Goetzl for insight into what employers need to know about the new recommendations. With regard to age discrimination laws, Lauren says that employers should put in place age-neutral return-to-work plans and to remember that in some jurisdictions, where age bias protections are more far reaching, employers could be exposed to additional legal risks.
