Fisher Phillips Adds Of Counsel in Irvine, Continuing Growth in California in 2019

IRVINE (Jan. 28, 2019) – Fisher Phillips announces the addition of Wendy Baker as Of Counsel in its Irvine office.
With more than a decade of experience in labor and employment law, Wendy defends employers in state and federal court against a variety of employment matters, including harassment and discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour laws, and employee leave laws. She also advises and counsels employers on a full range of labor and employment workforce issues. Wendy previously served as a partner with Fisher Phillips from 2007-2011, and most recently, she served as in-house employment counsel for Dream Center Education Holdings, LLC.
“Wendy possesses a unique mix of in-house and outside counsel experience, which combined give her a leg up in anticipating and managing HR and business needs for her clients,” said James J. Wendy earned her J.D. from the Pepperdine University School of Law (1999) and her B.S. from California State University, Sacramento (1994).
Wendy joins on the heels of recent additions to Fisher Phillips in California, including lawyers who have joined the firm in Irvine, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego and San Francisco.
