In this article, Candice and Lisa explain that according to Title III of the ADA, healthcare companies need to do more than ensure patients can physically access their facilities. They also need to make sure they can access their online websites and services. Company websites need to have the appropriate features that allow those who are disabled to use software to access the material. For example, those who are visually impaired may need screen-reading software, and those who cannot use a mouse are able to navigate with a keyboard.
