Philadelphia attorney Celia Joseph addressed the Professionals in Human Resources 2013 Annual Conference in Anaheim, California on August 26, 2013. Her presentation, “Employment Law and HR Compliance in the Middle East & India,” presented a general overview of the compliance issues facing employers operating in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Israel, and other countries in the region and/or members of the Gulf Cooperation Council.  She also discussed cultural issues that must be understood by employers operating in the region.
