Employers May See Shift on Employment Issues Under New EEOC Chair, Houston Attorney Says

In May 2019, the U.S. Senate confirmed Janet Dhillon as chair of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In an article for Law360, Houston attorney Ehsan Tabesh writes that, under Dhillon’s leadership, employers may see delayed implementation of EEO-1 enhanced wage data reporting requirements, a reduction in the EEOC’s case backlog and changes in the agency’s policy and litigation enforcement.
