DuSable Museum - Evening Fundraiser
Event
2.26.15
Fisher Phillips and the Cook County Bar Association's evening fundraiser for the DuSable Museum’s Roundhouse Expansion Project was a great success.
Built in 1880, the Daniel Burnham Roundhouse remained an uncelebrated facility just south of the Museum. Now, under the watchful eyes of the Illinois Preservation Society and the National Park Service, the DuSable is undertaking the restoration of the Roundhouse to its original integrity while virtually doubling the Museum’s current size.
When completed, the DuSable Museum will embolden Daniel Burnham’s motto of “make no little plans” and expand to be one of the largest African American History Museums in the country.
