In an article published in Crain’s New York, Melissa Camire offers insight on how employers should prepare for New York City’s impending salary transparency law. The law would require firms with more than four employees to post good-faith salary ranges for all job postings. That could give current employees insight into how they factor into their company’s pay scale.
Melissa explains that employers need to “train supervisors . . . on the implications of the disclosure obligation and take steps to ensure that recruiters are prepared to comply with the impending law.”
