COVID Employment Litigation Trends and Predictions for PEO and Staffing Industry

Leveraging data from Fisher Phillips’ COVID-19 Employment Litigation Tracker, John provides key trends happening in the litigation landscape across the country, including who is getting sued, what industries are hardest hit, how many claims have been filed and what employees are claiming in the courts. He also provides a look into the future by suggesting PEO client companies with employees who are still displaced from their normal workplaces could experience a spike in claims as they bring employees back to the workplace. John adds that PEOs may also see fluctuations in labor demands based on a surge in hiring in response to businesses rebounding from the pandemic.
