Todd Fredrickson weighed in on the new overtime pay rule.
The good news about the rule is that employers can use non-discretionary bonuses, incentive payments, and commissions to satisfy up to 10 percent of the new standard salary level, as long as these forms of compensation are paid at least quarterly, he said.
