Chicago Partner Steve Miller was quoted on SHRM.org in an article posted on October 17 about Halloween office parties and costumes entitled, "Can the ‘Naughty Nurse’ and Modern Workplace Coexist?"

Steve noted that HR managers may need to move beyond the standard of “using good taste and judgment,” because people interpret that differently.

Steve said that, “providing examples of costumes that routinely offend people is a better approach.”
