Boston Partner Discusses Grad Student Unions Under President Biden's NLRB

In an interview with Law360, Joshua Nadreau weighs in on the ongoing labor disputes between grad unions and their schools following the arrival of a Democratic majority at the NLRB. "Management has had the upper hand in the past three or four years, and I think at this point, we're going to see that playing field flip," Joshua says. Additionally, he says that the Democratic majority boosts student’s leverage in demanding that their schools come to the bargaining table. "Even the threat of that, I think, is enough to make certain institutions behave a little more carefully.”
