Attorneys Weigh in on 6th Circuit Transgender Ruling

Sam Lillard was interviewed by the Akron Legal News on the landmark ruling by the 6^th Circuit Court on discrimination against transgender employees. The ruling makes discriminating against any employee ‘because of sex’ illegal under Title VII. Employers in Ohio and other surrounding states are recommended to reevaluate their policies and training in order to make sure that transgender employees receive the same protections as those under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
