Are You In Compliance with the San Francisco Health Care Security Ordinance?
Fisher Phillips Breakfast Briefing
This complimentary event is a great opportunity to network and talk with our lawyers in an informal and collaborative setting to get the information you need to stay in the know.
San Francisco’s Health Care Security Ordinance (HCSO) requires covered employers to spend an amount hourly on health care expenditures for every employee who has been employed more than 90 days, working at least 8 hours a week. This law applies to employers operating in San Francisco, regardless of their headquartered location. In 2014, the HCSO was amended to phase in (over 3 years) a requirement that all heath care expenditures be made irrevocably. The HCSO presents unique challenges to employers operating in San Francisco. Are you a covered employer? Are you in compliance with the HCSO? We will go through the requirements of the HCSO and common mistakes made by covered employers.
