Active Shooter Training: What to do in the Healthcare Workplace

Event

Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children

2.21.18
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Complimentary event hosted by the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council and Fisher Phillips.

With workplace violence on the rise in the U.S., the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council and the employment lawyers at Fisher Phillips invite hospital executives, managers and security professionals to attend a proactive presentation on active shooter training by Captain Dan Birbeck.

The lawyers from Fisher Phillips will also provide a best practices update for employers regarding workplace violence. Recent injuries and losses of life have made it imperative that hospitals commit to strategies that minimize the risk and devastation of a potential active shooter. This seminar will provide valuable training featuring the "ADD - A-Avoid, D-Deny, D-Defend" method that may help you and your employees escape potential workplace tragedy.

Guest speakers: Captain Dan Birbeck, Dallas County Hospital District Police Department and Employment Law Attorneys from Fisher Phillips
